Membership
The CMPWG has over 150 members from a variety of disciplines, including medical physics, computational physics, health physics,
and nuclear engineering. Our members include representation from academia, industry, and government. Many of our members belong
to the American Nuclear Society, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the Health Physics Society, and other professional
and scientific organizations that include radiation and nuclear sciences. The interests of the members include radiation dose and
risk assessment, radiation transport calculations, measurements, and code development. In addition, some members are interested
in high-performance computating, phantoms, and benchmarks of medical radiation applications.
